This article reprinted from Edmonton's Mosaic magazine, reflects the experience of just one of the many patients who have found relief for their conditions through treatment by Ms. Strong.  It answers many common questions about acupuncture,  and what you - as a patient - can expect when you visit our clinic.

Finding a qualified practitioner:

To find a qualified, comprehensively trained acupuncturist, check the yellow pages under "Acupuncturists" for practitioners registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture of British Columbia (CTCMA) www.ctcma.bc.ca

CTCMA registrants have completed extensive formal training and have successfully completed licensing exams or qualified for grand-parenting into the College as a registrant. CTCMA registrants are required to complete continuing education to maintain their status.

Always ask where the practitioner trained, how long the training was (hours/years), how long she or he has been in practice and what experience they have had in treating your particular ailment.
